G. Raphael has just returned from mixing an album by Deportivo, a talented rock band in Paris with a really cool style that fuses very powerful guitar driven energy AND somehow traditional French melodic vocals. It was really a good project to work on, and should be released on Village Vert records
sometime very soon.
There has been a good deal of travelling, first London (working with Skin and Caroline Taucher and The Skuzzies, and then over to Stockholm to watch the legendary ULF in action in his superb mixing studio, mixing the Caroline Taucher tracks recorded in The Silver Transporterraum of London.
Next stop..... Seattle for summer fun, birthday parties and seeing good friends (and drinking Vivace Nico-Latte)
