The Girl Project

The Girl Project

Some cool chick from Seattle called Stormy. She does a little of everything and has seen alot. Maybe too much? She became my friend one day when in a deep dark seattle mood I saw a super-cool girl in a shopwindow working in a stylish Vintage Clothing store during the peak of the Seattle-grunge era. I actally got up the nerve to talk to her, and wound up living with her for a few days before I ran away from psychiatric therapy and moved to hollywood to become a star. Stormy came to my studio in NYC, (the first studio I ran with Scott Clark called: Chateau Relaxo. She wanted to make a record of her poetry, or spoken word as she and her friend Henry Rollins called it.

She would get so emotional in the studio reading her work that her voice would just disappear and only a whisper or some tears would come out. That can be difficult to record well, but it makes for very human and quite expressive artform. Ok, I put a few poems of hers on the Mp3 page, and hopefully she wont track me down with her dogs, cars , haircutting scissors or concealed weapons (licensed of course) to revenge on me for digging up the past. Here's to you stormy!! You can find her on Myspace .
